Research interests
I am mostly interested in extreme weather, compound events and climate change in the Mediterranean area. My most recent research is focused on the analysis of Sea Surface Temperature (climatology and trends) and Marine Heat Waves in the Mediterranean and its compounding with major atmospheric extremes such as atmospheric heat waves or heavy precipitation events. Also interested in weather numerical modelling of extreme events in the Mediterranean.
