Position: Coordinator Atmospheric Chemical Area

Research lines
My main scientific studies are related to gas-phase reactions (reactions with OH radicals, ozone, light and NO3 radicals), relevant to photooxidant formation, including gas and particulate phase using EUPHORE (European PHOto-Reactor), one of the biggest outdoor atmospheric simulation chambers worldwide for studying atmospheric chemistry processes equipped with state of the art instrumentation. This facility is nowadays part of the Aerosol, Clouds and Trace Gases Research Infrastructure (ACTRIS). (https://www.actris.eu/).

I am currently working on the following lines of research:
• Biomass burning emissions and ageing
• Fate of pesticides in the atmosphere
• Oxidation Capacity of the atmosphere
• Ozone formation
• Air Quality
