 Hector Calvete Sogo

He is an Environmentalist by the Polytechnical University of Valencia. He also obtained the Master and the PhD in Agri-Technology by the Polytechnical University of Madrid. During his PhD Héctor was focus on study the responses of the Mediterranean annual pasture communities to increased levels of surface O3 and N-deposition, the main atmospheric pollutants affecting the natural distribution area of this kind of pastures. Currently, he is a Junior Researcher and Project Manager of a European LIFE Project at CEAM Foundation. His role as Project Manager of the PERFECT (PEsticide Reduction using Friendly and Environmentally Controlled Technologies) LIFE Project is linking all the knowledge of Researchers, Technicians, Farmers, Policy-Makers and Stakeholders to reach the main goal of the project which is to demonstrate the possibility of a significant reduction of the environmental contamination of pesticides and their metabolites in the air using different tools and techniques. He is co-author of 15 articles in international journals, 6 book chapter and more than 50 participations in National and International Congresses.
